President George W. Bush will help kickoff Patriot Golf Day Weekend 2010 by joining PGA of America President Jim Remy, PGA Professional Dan Rooney, founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation, and veteran and double-amputee Heath Calhoun in a ceremonial tee off and round of golf tomorrow (Friday) at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco, Texas. Last Chance to Attend the Ryder Cup

The deadline for PGA Professionals to order a complimentary ticket to the 2010 Ryder Cup, Oct. 1-3, at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales has been extended. Class A PGA Members, Life Members and Master Professional Members can order one complimentary ticket for personal use and may purchase one daily guest ticket each day at half price. A Ticket Application form must be completed by September 17, 2010 for both the complimentary and guest ticket. [more]

2011 PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshop Schedule

Information and the schedule for the 2011 PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshop has been posted. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 6 (via online) or 9:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 13 (via phone). PGA members will receive 16 MSR for Introductory (2-day) PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshops and 24 MSR for Regular (4-day) PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshops. [more]
